Life has grand purpose.

Your being here is not random.

Whether here is planet Earth, your current life circumstances, or just the fleeting moment of visiting this website, life is a process of starting from where you are to explore “the possibility space” that’s around and within you. That’s evolution, that’s survival, that’s flourishing. It’s also the basis for good psychotherapy.

If you find yourself in states that are painful, frightful, harmful, shameful, stressful…

there are science-backed, non-pathologizing methods to better relate to these experiences and get “unstuck” from them. Health, healing and a deep sense of belonging in the world do not depend on fixing a problem or striving to get somewhere else; they come from listening to, learning from, and then releasing what’s obstructing the natural course of clarity, energy and trust in the many states of being, feeling and thinking that make up your stream of consciousness.

You contain multitudes, a multiplicity of characters that can take up the spotlight of your mind or remain hidden in the wings.

Good therapy, especially when paired with practices that invite the full participation of body and imagination, can buy us better seats to watch the conflicts and drama of life play out from a safe distance.

More importantly, good therapy assists you in stepping into new roles and testing out changes to your internal dialogue and decision-making scripts. Weekly therapy can even move the whole production of being human from the cramped theater of ego and persona to the expansive landscape of true Self.

My mission as a therapist and psychiatrist is to:

uphold the highest medical, ethical and psychotherapeutic standards.

curate a set of effective, transparent and consent-based models and methods wherein clients and I can collaborate on their wellbeing and health.

trust the energy, curiosity and wisdom of Self that has allowed untold humans to set out on great journeys and to come home to their calling, belonging and purpose.
